PUNTO REC STUDIOS RECORDING THE "SINFONIA DEI MILLE" BY GUSTAV MAHLER

At the Auditorium "Giovanni Agnelli" of the Lingotto in Torino, Punto Rec Studios has recorded the Symphony No. 8 in E flat major by Gustav Mahler, known as "dei mille" for eight solos, two mixed choirs, children's choir and big orchestra.
The opera has opened the fifth edition of the MiTo Settembre Musica 2011 music festival that counts over 200 events planned between Torino and Milano.
On stage they performed for the occasion, the Orchestra Sinfonica Nazionale of RAI, Orchestra and Chorus of the Teatro Regio of Torino, the Choirs of the Teatro Regio and the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory of Torino and the Choir of the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino , conducted by Gianandrea Noseda. The protagonists of the evening were also Sunnegarh Erika (soprano), Elena Pankratova (soprano), Julia Kleiter (soprano), Yvonne Naef (contralto), Maria Radner (contralto), Stephen Gould (tenor), Detlef Roth (baritone), Christof Fischesser (low), Claudio Fenoglio and Piero Monti (chorus masters).
